We had so much fun on our trip to the East coast to go to Zack's
Officer Development School graduation with the Navy.
I am so thankful for everything Zack's parents did to make the trip happen!
Tallin did awesome on the plane rides there and back.
He even slept and I didn't have to give him any meds for it.
I am lucky I have such a great kid!
We drove to Salt Lake from Oregon to fly to Rhode Island.
We went and saw the vistor's center in Salt Lake.
I wanted to have a picture of Tallin with a Russian Book Of Mormon.
My little model!
While we waited for Zack to change for the banquet, we went and looked at the water!
All ready to go on a date to the banquet.
After it was over we had Zack's parents bring Tallin to the banquet.
Tallin was the center of attention when we brought him in there.
He literally had ten people surrounding him and talking about how cute he was.
He was a hit! It was so cute. He loved it all.
The next day Zack had his graduation ceremony. It was so fun to be there for it and see him graduate.
I am so proud of all his accomplishments.
I have the best family!
One of Zack's buddies he made at his training.
Kisses, Kisses!
Tallin missed his daddy so much, that he just wanted to snuggle him.
I had to catch it on camera.
After we got changed and packed the car up we went to look at the mansions in
Newport, Rhode Island.
It was cool to see how fancy all of these mansions are. But I have to say I don't ever want to live in one because they are not homey at all. Not that I will ever have to worry about that haha.
This was a gorgeous view.
We then went on a boat ride around Rhode Island.
Tallin loved watching all of the boats go by.
After we went on the boat ride we headed to Boston to tour around.
The first night in Boston we went to a Red Sox game.
I could not believe how packed it was there. We were lucky enough to have two open seats to the right of us so Tallin could play. He was such a great boy on this trip.
Tallin wanted to hold the little boy's hand.
We got there early and had a bunch of room. Only when it was about to start did all the seats fill.
He loved watching! Not sure he knew what he was watching though.
The next day we went and toured the city. We first went to Harvard. We didn't have a car there and took the subway everywhere and walked. I think we walked over 20 miles all together. I need new sandals now.
One thing I really wanted to try while I was in Boston was Mike's Pastry.
I liked the cannoli I got Zack the best and ate the rest of his. Haha
Peanut butter cannoli.
I love this cute boy! He loved looking out the windows and watching all of the cars go by at our hotel. In this picture he climbed up on my suitcase to be able to see out the window. We were next to a hospital and he loved it when the ambulances, fire trucks and police cars would drive by with their sirens on.
We took a boat/bus tour around Boston. It was cool because after we were done driving around the streets, we went into the water with the bus. It was called an amphibious Super Ducks tour. It was pretty cool. I was bummed that Tallin fell asleep and did not see us go into the water.
These two are just so adorable together. He sure adores his daddy!
We went and toured a Destroyer from WWII.
Right before he fell over and hit his head. He was petting the fake dog. Haha
At the end of our last day in Boston. They were so tired because we walked around a lot.
This is really not normal for Tallin to just fall asleep on someone. It was so cute!
We had such a fun time in Boston and we are so lucky we were able to visit. We are so happy to be back in Arizona and to get Tallin back on his schedule.
You seriously did all of my favorite things in Boston! Mikes pastry is a must stop Everytime I am home-sooooo good! And I love the duck tours! So glad you had such a fun time-I love it when my friends get to experience New England!
