Aiden's 1st Birthday

Since I'm in the early stages of being pregnant and always being tired, we did a small family party for Aiden's first birthday. 

Instead of going out to dinner we decided to order pizza.

My parents got him a kitchen set for his birthday.

He loves playing with the kitchen.

Cinnamon roll breakfast.

Grandma and papa Baxter got him a ball pit.

Balls were all over the house.

I made Aiden a small smash cake.

Since he loves basketballs, I figured that was the best cake to make.

Since AJ's birthday is on Halloween, we also carved our pumpkins.

He was not a big fan of the pumpkin.

Tallin loved watching Zack carve them.

Tallin wanted Zack to carve him a B-Max pumpkin.

Aj got a stuffed animal and cooking set from us for his birthday.

Aiden was a little timid of his cake, but we think it was because it looks like a pumpkin and he was not a fan of the pumpkins.  After a while he warmed up and started to eat some.

Tallin enjoyed digging into his cake.

Tallin has been obsessed with ghosts, so we made him a ghost out of a sheet. 

He loved it and kept trying to scare us.

Aiden James Is One!

Our BABY is one!!

I can't believe Aj is one. 

Weighs: 20 lbs.

Since Aj is a Halloween baby, I figured his one year old pictures would be perfect to take at the pumpkin patch. Even if it was really sunny and we didn't get any good ones. 

Aj is our little busy B. 

He walks and runs everywhere. 

He loves balls and following his brother around.

The only way he will sit still is if he watches a show called LBB. 

He doesn't like to snuggle, even when he is sick usually. This makes me so sad!

Aj loves to climb on EVERYTHING!!! I am suprised we have not been to the ER with him yet. 

He wears size 3 diapers still. 

He is our skinny boy!

He is constaly on the go. 

Loves eatting everything that we eat. 

He has all 4 molars and his other teeth. He is just missing his K9 teeth.

We love this little boy and can't imagine our life without him. 

We love you Aiden James Baxter!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY 

TALLIN

Tallin continues to brighten our day! He is so cute and has such a cute, bubbly personality. I could go on and on about him.  He has taught us so much and we love him so much!



Weight: 22 lbs

Height: 29 inches

By his 1st Birthday:

Tallin loves to speak.  The new word that he said the other day was "Papa". We were super excited.

He loves to roll over and over again. It is adorable. I swear he thinks he is a dog.

He is a happy boy when he gets naps, but can get on the cranky side if he does not get enough sleep. 

Tallin took his first steps by himself right before he turned one. ( He is now walking)
When he wakes up from his nap,  I ask Tallin to take out his binky and set it in the crib. He always does it, unless he is grumpy... It is the cutest thing ever.  He also knows what a ball is.  I will tell him to go get his ball and he will go find it.

He is still really picky when it comes to food. He loves strawberries and blueberries.

He loves to play with other kids.  He tries to be the leader and have them follow him.  It's pretty cute.
He also loves to play with cars. He would play with them all day!
Tallin continues to sleep through the night. I just love it!
He knows how to blow kisses. He just keeps his mouth open.. little french kisses.
Tallin loves being outside.
His bottom right tooth has broken through his gums. 
Tallin loves playing with balloons.
He loves any kind of toy that makes noise.
He has started to shake his head back and forth.
Tallin likes to put our phones to his ears and pretend he is talking on the phone.  He is watching everything we do and is copying us. It's pretty cute!



Zack wrote these poems for Tallin.

He came out so fast, a wailing fireball
He screams and he kicks, I bang my head against the wall
He poops and he giggles, ok, I guess that was kind of cute
And look at all that hair? A fuzzy little kiwi fruit
Now he is one, giving kisses and hugs
Tallin DeGraw Baxter, please stay our tiny bug
We love you so much, each laugh, cry, and stare
You sweet momma's boy, we love you more than we can bear!


I lock the door, and the car gives a beep
I'm home for the day, ready to fall right asleep
I approach the porch, someone else heard the car
He squeals and he laughs, he knows daddy isn't far
I walk up so slow, sneak over like a mouse
Tallin is staring at mom, knowing dad is by the house
I stand super still, my family is a beautiful sight
He turns and he sees me, I hear screams of delight
He yells "Dada, dada", the screen door swings open
My two best friends, one happens to be a tiny human
I pick him up and kiss him, here comes my sweet wife
Med school may be awful , but I'm still living the good life

Tallin's 1st Birthday Party

I can't believe my baby is one year old! 

We had so much fun celebrating his birthday. 

When he woke up, we went in his room and threw balloons into his crib.  He thought it was so fun! 

It was cute to see how much he liked the balloons.

Dad came home early from school and we went to In-N-Out to have a celebration lunch.

Tallin of course had to bring a balloon along. 

I had to get a picture with this cutie too.

Waiting patiently for our food.

It was so busy that we had no room for a high chair.

He ended up finishing his lunch at home. 

He got to open one of his presents from us.

BUBBLES!!! He loves bubbles.

Zack had so much fun with the bubble gun.

I think a little too much.....

We decided to take Tallin to Jamba Juice.

He had his first peanut butter mood.

We used Tallin's birthday as an excuse for us to get smoothies. HaHa

I had so much fun planning Tallin's birthday party.

It was beach themed.

We invited lots of his friends and had a good time.

Of course Tallin had to be grumpy on the day of his party.

Oh well it was still fun!

My mom and I had fun frosting the cupcakes.

This is the only picture I got of Tallin that was kind of decent.

He has been teething and it has made him moody the last couple of weeks.

I got these balls thinking it would fill up the whole pool.... that didn't happen. Haha

I had an area with sand buckets for the kids to play in the sand.

Not a lot of the kids Tallin's age went over there.

But the older kids liked it.

We also had bubbles at one of the tables.

These are Zack's med school buddies. 

A couple of them really love Tallin!

He passed out after the party. 

I think Tallin had a good birthday. He sure was tired at the end of the day!
