Halloween Activities

Tallin had his first Halloween.
We had a lot of activities planned.
I planned a Halloween playgroup.
All of the moms brought Halloween themed food.
I made mini hotdog mummies.
I forgot to take a picture with my camera though.
They were really cute though and we had a lot of fun!

This is Tallin all ready for his friends to come over!
He even wore his Halloween shirt.

Here are all of Tallin's friends that came.

I made these cute little gifts for the moms to take home.
Ghost lollipops.

We had so much fun at our ward Trunk-or-Treat activity!
Zack and I were Zookeepers and Tallin was a tiger.
We bought his outfit last year when
I was pregnant because it was on sale for 80% off.
The tricky part was finding a costume that went with his costume.

All ready to go Trick-or-Treating to some cars.

This little girl, Zoe, was Tallin's first kiss. Of course dad initiated it. HaHa

Oh these boys!

Family

Flying tiger.

Tallin sat in the trunk while we passed out candy.

Zack's school put on a Halloween activity for kids.
The kids went around Trick-or Treating at the administration's offices.
I went around with two friends from church.
Tallin only wore his tiger bottoms because it was over 90 degrees outside.
Zack was in class the whole time we went around.
I was the only wife toward the end with no husband around.

Tallin enjoyed chewing on Jane's candy...

Yeah daddy finally got out of class!!!
"Uh dad what are you looking at" -Tallin

I swear between these two boys
I can never get them BOTH to look at the camera at the same time. Haha

After we met up with dad we decided to go to McDonald's for date night.
Yeah we are college students on a budget, but we enjoy McDonald's.

For family home evening we decided to carve our pumpkins and let Tallin paint his.

Of course he had to give the pumpkin a little nibble.

He loved painting his pumpkin.
It was so cute to watch him.

After Tallin painted his pumpkin we put him to bed and then had our time carving our pumpkins.

Here are all the pumpkins finished.

 Haha... Gotta love my hubby!

Zack passed one of his hardest tests of his first year, so we went to Texas Roadhouse to celebrate.
Tallin loves their sweet rolls.

Zack was so excited to eat his steak.

When Tallin has a hard time going down for his nap, I often find him using his bumpers as a pillow.
It is super funny!

On Halloween Zack got done with school early, so we took advantage of it and went to the park.
Tallin loved watching all the kids play and loved eating the grass.

I love those little teeth.

I guess dad wants to chew on Tallin's toy too.

Slide time!

Tallin is so strong. I was not even holding onto him at one point and he held himself up.

He loves swings!

Man I love those chubby cheeks.

This year I decided to start a tradition were we make a Frankenstein pizza and watch a Halloween movie on Halloween day.

Tallin wore his Halloween pj's to bed.
He looked so cute with them on.
By the way they are 12 month pj's...
We have a BIG boy on our hands!

 Man he melts my heart!

 Father like son... watching Basketball.

We had so much fun this Halloween.
Decorations, candy corn, costumes, parties, pizza and Halloween movies.
I can't wait for next year, because
Tallin will be able go Trick-or-Treating!!

Love is in the Air

I have the best husband ever! I told Zack not to do anything for me this year,  since we have a baby on the way. I thought it would be better to just go out to lunch and then spend the day together.  After lunch we came back to our place and I opened the door and found this.  I sure love this boy and he continues to surprise me with how awesome he is every day.
I LOVE YOU SO MUCH ZACK!!!

Christmas with the Baxter's

This year we had Christmas with the Baxter side of the family.
We had fun baking up a storm and delivering cookies.

Dressing up and acting out the Nativity.
Zack and I were Joseph & Mary.
Having family over for Christmas Eve.
Eating tons of sugar and good food.
And of course opening up presents.

Greg showing off his ornament that Brooklyn made him (our niece).
 Kacey made this for Karen.

It is nice to be able to sleep in on Christmas morning since we are older and don't care to open presents super early.
We were able to Skype with my brother who is serving a mission in Japan.
It was fun because he got to see my baby bump.
His reaction was funny because he said, “Man you are huge”,
but I still have 12 weeks left and he will be surprised when my belly gets even BIGGER!!!

Halloween 2012

I am so behind on blogging. My goal is to get a bunch of posts up before we head back to Rexburg. This year for Halloween Zack and I decided not to dress up. We were super busy with school and everything else going on. . I can’t wait for baby Tallin to be born so we can dress him up all cute.  A couple of nights before Halloween, we went over to a friend’s house and carved pumpkins. It was our first pumpkin carving as a married couple.

Thanksgiving in Rexburg

This Thanksgiving my parents came up to stay with us for a week.
It was a lot of fun to have them stay at our apartment and show them around Rexburg.
They also made us dinner every night and I barely had to cook.
It was super nice.
On Thanksgiving we went to my aunt's house and had lunch/dinner.
We then had a bonfire outside.
The next day we all went shooting.
Here is a picture of Zack and my dad shooting a gun.
Our family picture.
Just missing Brett.
I am 23 weeks pregnant now.
