Feburary Love!!

We love February.
It's so much fun to celebrate a month of love!
I sure love my boys!!

I finally just gave in and gave Aiden rice cereal.
I had been debating waiting until he was 4 months because that is what they recommend.
But I could tell he needed it and decided to just try it out.
He has done awesome with it.

Tallin LOVES to dance and thought it would be fun to dance with Aiden.
Silly boys!

Going in for a hug.

He is already trying to wrestle his brother.
He thinks his brother is bigger then he is.

Little boys in bow ties are just so cute to me.

Zack has decided to add a new tradition by having Papa Murphy's pizza on super bowl Sunday.
I'm not complaining though, its nice to come home from church and not have to prepare dinner.

After Zack takes his Monday morning exams, we always try to go do something as a family. We call it our family home evening since he studies at night.
This particular Monday we went and got donuts and juice from Albertson's then went to the park.
We played tennis for a little while and then went and let Tallin play on the playground.
It was so much fun! I look forward to Monday's.

Aiden fell a sleep for most of our trip.

I have looked forward to this day for forever.
Just being able to snuggle my kids and watch a movie.
I sure adore and love them!
Of course we were watching Cars. Tallin is OBSESSED with that movie.

We got another culture pass and it was for the Children's Museum.
We only had to pay for 1 ticket since we went as a family.
It was so much fun and Tallin really enjoyed it.
They had so many fun things to do there.
He enjoyed the dinosaurs of course.
(These pictures are from my phone)

He is so short that he could not reach the peddles on any of the bikes.
Daddy had to help him out.
We have a photo bomber in this photo. Kind of creepy.

It's so cool that they let the kids paint the castle.
I was a little nervous that he was going to try to paint one of the kids, but he
kept to himself and painted the castle. It was pretty cute!!

Tallin has learned the word owl and the sound they make.
He loves owls know!

They had a baby area and AJ enjoyed reading stories with daddy.

They had a shopping area. There was way to many kids trying to go shopping, but Zack was able to snatch a cart for Tallin to play with.

He was scared of the playground outside.

They were giving out free tooth brushes and Tallin decided my water bottle needed some cleaning. HaHa

We have been finding Tallin a sleep on the floor a lot more often.

It was haircut day!

Aiden had some pretty long pieces of hair, so I decided to trim them.

All trimmed up. : )

Tallin had fun painting and decided it would be fun to try to paint daddy.

We had a playgroup valentines day party.
Tallin was excited to look at the valentines he got his friends.
They had cars on them of course.

The boys look so cute in their Navy outfits.
Tallin has hit the stage of never wanting to smile for pictures.

For Valentines day Zack and the boys made me breakfast and went and got me some treats.
I loved getting my treats from them.

When Zack went to study with a friend on Valentines day we made him his favorite cookies and a card.

Tallin had fun putting tissue paper in the heart.

After we got Tallin to bed we sat down to have some fondue and watch one of our favorite tv shows.
It was so much fun even though Aiden didn't want to go to bed.

This little guy is getting so big and is putting everything in his mouth.

The cute card Tallin made Zack.

Next week Zack has finals and then Karen and Greg get into town.
We are super excited for them to visit.

2014 Christmas Family Pictures/Christmas Letter

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas! This year has flown by so fast. I am thankful for this holiday season and that we can remember the birth of our Savior. Here is a little update on what has been going on this year.

Aiden was born on October 31, 2014.  Yes you read that right he is a Halloween baby.  I never expected that to happen.  He weighed 6 pounds 11 ounces. He was 20 inches long and is continuing to grow.  He loves to sleep and stare at us with his dark eyes.  He has now found his hands and sucks on them every once in a while.  He is a really calm baby.   He coos often and loves getting smothered by Tallin.

Tallin has been busy being a big brother.  He loves to play with Aiden and give him kisses.  He also loves to put toys all over him.  Tallin loves to play with cars, trains, balls and anything boyish.  He is starting to talk and understand things that we say to him.  His favorite words right now are no, mama and dada.  He also says poop, star, pee, fish, ball, t, b, i, nose, eyes, ear, teeth, and baby as well as other random words.  He is now sleeping in a big boy bed (queen sized) and does really well.  Our next step is to get him potty trained.  He already goes potty in the toilet and loves to get a jellybean for it.  At church he now attends nursery and he absolutely loves it.  We sure love our little guy and he sure keeps us busy.

Zack started his second year of medical school.  I can tell that this year is a lot harder than last year.  He studies a lot more but he studies at home, so we get to see him a lot throughout the day.  We are pretty lucky.  Since Zack is in the Navy he had to go to annual training this summer.  It was in Rhode Island and he was gone for 6 weeks.  He sure learned a lot and made some good friends.  While he was there we went and stayed with Zack’s parents in Oregon.  Tallin had so much fun getting to know his cousins that live close to Zack’s parents.  Zack’s parents, Tallin and I all flew out for his graduation.  After his graduation we headed to Boston to visit.  We had so much fun!!  Zack continues to love to learn about the medical field.  He has added soccer and hockey to sports he loves to watch in addition to basketball and football.  I have to say I think there is always a game on at our house.  In our ward Zack was called to be a youth Sunday school teacher.  He enjoys working with the youth.

This year has been a busy one for me.  In February we learned that we would bring another baby into the world.  I was beyond excited!!! I have always wanted a lot of kids.  I was then released from my primary calling and was called to be in charge of the ward missionary meals.  We also bought a new van!  It is a 2012 Honda Odyssey.  We love it and it’s so much easier to haul the kids around everywhere.  I have been busy trying to figure out how to be a mom of two kids.  It’s so much fun, but also a lot of work!  I know that I don’t get enough sleep anymore, my house is not always clean and sometimes we don’t get out of our pajamas, but I would not trade it for anything.

We hope you all have a happy holiday!
Love,
Zack, Nicole, Tallin & Aiden

Here are some Christmas pictures we took.

I love these two boys and I am so thankful that Heavenly Father sent them to our family!
