We love Christmas time and new traditions

We hope you all had a Merry Christmas and will have a Happy New Year!
This month we had a lot of fun and did a lot of things!
We also made new traditions for our family.

This was at our ward Christmas party.

He did not like santa at all!!

This is our bishop's daughter and she adores Tallin and always wants to hold him.

Love when he smilies with his eyes closed.

Tallin's girlfriend. Don't they just look so cute together!!

The first weekend in December they had a Christmas parade.

We saw some of our friends there and went and hung out with them during the parade.

I took this picture for Zack

It was freezing because we were sitting in the shade.

Love my family.

There were these old ladies dancing in the parade.
It was so adorable! This will be me someday.

This is our stake's float.
The two people on it are friends from our ward.

Here are some of the Christmas decorations I put up.

I made all of this. It was so much fun to make!!

Tallin LOVES the mirror. Love could be an understatement.
He just laughs and giggles every time we are by a mirror.
It is pretty adorable.

I took Tallin's 9 month pictures.
This is him with his first ornament.
Go to this post to see all of his pictures.

Zack and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary.
Since we already went on a cruise for it we decided to go out to dinner.
I surprised Zack and planned for our friends to watch Tallin while we went out.
It was nice to be able to go to a nice restuarant and not have to worry about Tallin.
We sure missed him though and hurried back to him after dinner.

Our Christmas Sunday outfits.

We started this tradition were we will go out on the Sunday before Christmas and look at all of the Christmas lights. It was so much fun!

Tallin did not like the flash from the camera.

So happy he got to stay up past his bedtime to look at lights.

This year my family had the opportunity to buy a family Christmas dinner and presents.
I was kind of stressing about the present because I had NO IDEA what to get.
But as soon as I went to the store and saw all the toys, I knew what to get.

This is everything we got them for dinner.

On Christmas eve we headed out to Gilbert where Zack's aunt lives to spend Christmas eve with her family. We had so much fun! Here are some pictures.

This is the picture before Santa clause came and surprised them.

Yeah after trying the second time, he is still scared of Santa. : (

"get me out of here"

Love my cute boy!

Zack was trying to teach Tallin to ride a bike. HaHa

This is Riley, he LOVES Tallin. He kept coming over to him and staring at him and tryed to kiss him a couple of times. It was pretty funny. Tallin would try to hit him out of his face if he didn't like it.

They did the nativity and Tallin was baby Jesus.

Opening his Christmas pajamas.  A new family tradition!

He was so excited to open it!

 Pajamas Wooo

This is what was in the box. When Tallin gets older I will put popcorn instead of yogurt bites. Also, maybe some hot cocoa packets. I love this tradition and can't wait to do it again next year.

Oh No he is starting to do the face I did when I was a teenager!!
But he looks a lot cuter then I when I made that face.

My stud!!

Christmas morning.

Santa brought us some toys!!
(Well my mom bought mine lol)
Growing up the big present was always unwrapped and sitting out and it was from Santa.
So Zack and I decided to keep this tradition going.
I love it!

All the presents.

Tallin crawling over to see his presents.

This is the present that aunt Kacey and uncle Greg got Tallin for his first Christmas.
He LOVES his chair and sat in it to open ALL of his presents.

Looking at what is in our stockings.

Wooo big boy binkies (finally got the bigger ones for him). I just think the basketball ones are adorable. Mostly because Zack loves basketball so I want Tallin to love it too.

Tallin with all of his Christmas presents. I love his face.

Our family photo.
We took it right before our guests came!

Happy boy on Christmas

We decided to invite some friends over for Christmas dinner.
Since this was our first Christmas dinner with no family around, we wanted to do it right!
So I went a little all out with the table! Ha Ha

I made everyone's place setting.

My friend has this gate, so I asked her to bring it.
I am thinking when we have another baby that we are going to need to buy one of these.
It was so nice to not have to worry about the kids while we ate dinner.

At one point the kids got pretty quiet. We checked to see what they were doing...
and we found them playing outside on the patio!!
I forgot that I had the door open with the screen door shut.
These babies are smart.
Of course Tallin would follow Wade, the older kid. Ha Ha
