I only sent Christmas letters to family members this year.
But for those who did not get one. Here it is!
MERRY CHRISTMAS
With
our two-year anniversary approaching, we can easily say that 2013 was the best
year ever!! Our family grew by way of a
beautiful baby boy and we have found ourselves in sunny Glendale, Arizona.
Tallin
was born on March 13, 2013. He weighed 7
pounds and was 19 inches long. He
continues to grow every day. He loves to
army crawl and pull himself up onto everything.
Tallin loves to dance. He also
loves to eat anything he can find on the floor.
We have found many interesting things in his mouth… Tallin is a talkative kid and is always
babbling. He has learned a lot of
different sounds. I try to teach him a
new sound every day and he loves copying the sounds I make. He is for sure a mommy’s boy.
Zack
graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho in April with a BS in
Biology. He was accepted to medical
school and began classes at Midwestern University in August. He is enjoying school and stays busy studying
and spending time with Tallin and me. We
have been blessed with the wonderful opportunity to pay for medical school
through a military scholarship. So we
have joined the Navy!! The scholarship pays
for Zack’s
schooling and in return he will be a doctor for the military for a few
years. Zack loves to play with his
little boy and they love to make each other laugh. Zack tries to keep up with the Russian
language and loves to watch Russian cartoons with Tallin.
In
April, I graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho with a BS in
Communications. I have LOVED being a mom
and try my best to teach Tallin something new every day. I have been called as the primary second
counselor in our ward. Our presidency
has been working really hard on a lot of projects to help improve the
primary. I spend a lot of time crafting
while Tallin naps. I have way too much
fun with crafts. I am spoiled living
down the street from Hobby Lobby.
Somehow (I’m still not sure how), I convinced Zack that we needed
a nice camera. So I bought a new camera
and have been taking tons of pictures of our cute little family.
We love life. We love our ward and the peace the gospel
gives us. The Lord has blessed us this
year in many ways. We are grateful for
the gift of the gospel and pray that His spirit will be in your homes and
hearts during this Christmas season.
With
love,
Zack, Nicole and Tallin
Baxter
