We were lucky enough to go to Oregon for Christmas.
The boys were so excited to go play in the snow.
They did awesome on the plane too.
I was a little worried because AJ had a ear infection and was on antibiotics, but everything went smooth.
We made it to Oregon and it was freezing!
Of course the first thing Tallin wanted to do was play in the snow.
He would of stayed out there all day if Zack would of stayed with him.
Aiden really enjoyed playing with this baby doll.
He would give it kisses and hugs all the time.
Aiden is going to be such a great big brother.
Aiden was not to excited to play in the snow and wanted to come in after a few minutes.
I love Christmas Sunday.
I love how much they love each other.
It's funny how many times I get asked if they are twins.
Tallin got to go make a snowman with Zack before dinner.
He loved it and kept talking about the snow man for days after.
Aj was a monkey at Zack's parents house and climbed on EVERYTHING!!
I am so surprised we didn't end up in the emergency room.
I made my mom's secret toffee recipe while I was in Baker.
It was my first time making it without my mom.
It turned out great and tasted so good!
The boys loved playing with their cousins.
Somebody got a haircut while we were in Baker.
Tallin wanted to help Zack shovel the pathway.
It was cute watching him try to help.
We decorated cookies one night and the boys loved eating them.
Zack's parents also took us bowling and out to ice cream.
It was so much fun!
Tallin wanted to stay outside and kept eating the snow.
Zack built Tallin a little jump to slide down on.
On Christmas Eve Zack's brothers family came out to celebrate with us.
When we got there we all got our warm clothes on and headed out to go sledding.
Aiden is not a fan of the cold and did not want to be there at all.
Tallin loved it for about 15 minutes and then was ready to go back to grandma and papa's.
After we went sledding we relaxed for a little while.
Karen made a couple of different soups for dinner and rolls.
After dinner we sang Christmas songs and acted out the nativity.
AJ tried to accompany grandma on the piano.
I got to say he doesn't sound as good as grandma did.
Zack and Kacey were Mary and Joseph.
They always draw names out of a hat.
That way it is fair for everyone.
I was one of the wise men, Aj was a sheep and Tallin was the star.
After we did the nativity we went and looked at this cool house with a bunch of lights.
When we got back home the boys opened their Christmas pajamas, popcorn and movie.
Then they got to open up a present from grandma and papa.
They got cool new towels with super hero's on the hood.
Before we went to bed, Zack went outside to put reindeer dropping down.
The boys loved their Christmas presents from Santa.
Aj got a farm puzzle and Tallin got a car set.
Uncle Nama helped Aj open up his present.
A picture of them with all of their presents.
Their big present was bunk beds, but we didn't order them till we got back from Oregon.
Zack and Tallin played a couple of games and of course we had to have some kind of game on the TV. haha
That Sunday Zack's parents were taking his sister and brother-in-law to the airport, so we decided to head out to La Grand and go to church with his brothers family.
Of course when we got there I was carrying AJ and wearing heals and it was snowy and ice and slipped on ice and fell scratching up my legs and falling on my elbow. I got lucky nothing serious happened to my elbow. My legs were all banged up though.
AJ came and crashed uncle Greg's primary class.
It was cute to see him sit in the little chairs.
He even colored with the kids and tried eating the crayons of course.
The next day Zack and I left for the coast for a anniversary get a way.
The first two nights we stayed in Lincoln city, right on the water.
We went and looked for cool rocks and sea shells to give to the boys.
The second day there we went whale watching.
I was so happy I didn't get sick and was able to see some whales.
After we went whale watching we were soaked and cold.
The next morning we headed to Portland and went to the temple. We were going to go to a Blazers game but the game was sold out. Zack was so bummed.
We celebrated by going to a nice dinner.
4 years down eternity to go!
After dinner we went and walked the mall. They had a ice skating rank in there with some seats to sit on to watch. So we relaxed for a little while. It was nice to not have to worry about running around after kids and just enjoying each others company.
I had to take a picture on the fire truck for Tallin.
We got back on New Years eve.
Zack's brothers family came out for it.
We had Papa Murphy's pizza and home made ice cream.
We bought a fun New Years eve set and let the kids wear the hats and do all the poppers.
AJ did not want to wear the hat at all.
Happy New Year! The adults ended up staying up till midnight playing games.
We were so tired the next morning because AJ decided to keep us up all night.
Cousin bath time before bed.
Zack left the day after New years day to head back to Arizona for his away rotation in Prescott.
The boys and I stayed a extra two weeks since he would not be home anyways.
Zack took Tallin on a little date to McDonald. Tallin loved having daddy time.
We made graham cracker houses on New Years Day.
The kids had more fun eating the candy then putting them on the houses.
Tallin was so proud of his house.
He was sleeping so cute that I had to take a picture.
I'm lucky he is such a deep sleeper.
These two are just too cute!
Aiden saw I was taking a picture and ran over to get in it. It was so cute!
The first Sunday Zack was gone both Karen and Judge were in Primary for the day and Aj and I walked the halls. He does not sit still and is always on the go. This mommy needed a break so we went to the mothers lounge.
I found Tallin like this one night.
Ninja turtle mom!!
Can you tell that Zack is bored on this rotation?
We got out the play dough that grandma and papa got for all the grandkids.
Aj thought it was fun to keep trying to eat it.
Who says a boy can't play with pom poms.
The boys decided that they didn't want to wear their shirts anymore, so it was a shirtless afternoon.
25 Weeks!
We went out to La Grand one day to hang out with the kids.
We went to Walmart before to kill some time.
These boys love fish and didn't want to leave. I think we stayed there for a good 15 minutes.
After B got out of school we went to McDonald's to have ice cream and let the kids play.
They had a 75% off sale at Rite Aide and I got this baby for 2 bucks.
Aj loves her and still loves her.
Aj has this thing were he loves to climb on you and then start riding you like a horse.
We got to visit grandpa at work one day.
The boys loved playing at grandpas desk.
Kacey and Karen threw me a little shower. It was so sweet of them and I am so thankful for everyone that came and dropped by a gift.
After the shower Karen treated us to lunch.
It was so nice to get away and have a girls afternoon.
Aj is so cute riding this horse and he loves it!
Aj was so tired one day and grandma held him and he was out in two minutes.
Grandma took the boys on a little walk and they loved it!
Grandma and papa took us out to dinner to McDonald's one night. Talin loved playing with the toy one of the workers gave them.
Aiden loved his ice cream cone.
The boys needed to get out of the house so we went to the store and I let the boys play in the little car cart. They loved it!
It was snowing one day and grandma took Tallin outside to play in it. He is for sure a snow bird.
Our last Thursday in Oregon, we went out to La Grand to see the kids before we left to go back home. Both of the boys love playing with their cousins.
A day before we left Tallin had the worst melt down that lasted a good 30 minutes or longer.
I had to take a picture to show Zack what was going on.
We went and got treats for the airplane.
I did it!! I went on a airplane with two kids and being pregnant. Aj didn't make it easy at some points, but we did it!
He even fell a sleep for 25 minutes
Let's say the boys were over excited to see their dad.
They didn't want to let him out of their sight.
We are so lucky that we were able to stay with Zack's parents and the boys sure love their grandparents.
