Tallin's 18 months update!

18 months old!
It's harder to take a one year old's picture.

Tallin is continuing to learn something new every day. It shocks us what he learns.
He loves to look at books. Especially books that have animals in them.
He is wearing size 4 diapers and is in 18 month clothes.  He is a shorty and can still fit into size 12 months shorts and pants.

Tallin's vocabulary is growing slowly.
He can say mama, dada, baby, uh-oh, car, outside, shoes, fish and Jesus.
He loves to make animal noises.
He can say quack quack, meow, ruff, baa, roar, and nay.
He loves stuffed animals. He will hold and hug them all day!
He also loves any kind of sea life. His favorite are fish.
We have two fish and he loves to go watch them.

He is still the pickiest eater ever! He refuses to eat veggies. He loves any kind of pasta, breads, dairy, fruits, and crackers. That pretty much sums up what he will eat. I try to feed him what we are eating for dinner and he usually refuses it. But I am going to keep trying. Once he hits 2 years old, he will have to eat what we are eating. I am going to be one of those mommies!!

Some of Tallin's favorite things to do is go outside,
play with his cars, dinosaurs, trains, turning the tv on and off, and reading books.
He also loves to eat dirt, crayons, sand, sticks, rocks and anything he can find outside.

Some randoms things about Tallin.
He throws some pretty funny fits when he does not get what he wants.
He knows who Jesus is. When we ask him, "Where is Jesus?", he gets all excited and runs to his picture and points at him. He even blows him kisses.
Sacrament meeting is an adventure every week. Zack's had to take him out for a few minutes the last few weeks. He is a loud kid!
He is now in nursery and is doing so well. He does not want to leave when we come get him!
He also loves to give Zack and I kisses. I love it!
He LOVES playing outside.  He will bring us his shoes 10x a day. I can't wait until it cools off here, that way we can go to the park more.

Tallin continues to sleep through the night. The last few nights though he has been having troubles just going to sleep. He use to be so good at just going down to sleep. He takes a 2 to 3 hour nap and still sleep 11 to 12 hours at night. He only gets his binky during nap and bedtime. He also loves to hold onto his little blanket I made him.

We love Tallin so much and are so thankful he was sent to our family. I have loved getting to know his sweet personality and love waking up and knowing I get to hang out with him all day. I would not trade it for anything.
