This month we have had a lot of fun things going on.
Zack studies all the time, but he likes to be with us so he often studies wherever we go. I am glad he finds time to spend with Tallin and me.
This month I decided that I would no longer nurse Tallin to sleep.
It was time to let him cry it out in his crib.
It was super hard for me at first, but I just kept myself busy.
He now only cries 5 to 10 minutes before falling asleep.
Here is a picture of the first day that we started to let him fall asleep on his own.
We finally purchased a high chair. I saw this high chair at my friend's house and really liked it... so we got one for Tallin! It is so much easier to feed Tallin in.
He loves his yogurt bites.
All ready to go get mommy and daddy's military IDs.
At the office to get our ID's.
Tallin was up early enough to say good bye to daddy.
Since the day I began driving, I have been looking
for a license plate with my initials on it. I finally found one with my
maiden name!!! It is our neighbor's car. So funny!
He is just so cute! He is all ready to go pick up aunt Courtney from the airport.
On the way to pick up Courtney we stopped at IKEA for our first IKEA experience.
It was pretty awesome!!
I bought a shelf there to decorate with holiday crafts.
Next month I will show pictures of the fun things I have been working on.

Aunt Courtney thought we were waiting in the car, but Tallin and I surprised her. She looked straight at me and didn't even realize it was me. Tallin immediately gave her a hug. I'm glad I captured it on camera. It was so cute!
We went to an elder's quorum BBQ.
Going down the slide.
There was a pretty little pond across the street from the BBQ. There were a bunch of ducks. I can't wait until Tallin is old enough to feed them.
All ready for church!
Courtney was here on a Sunday afternoon, so we decided to drive to the temple and took a detour to look at the big houses along the way. I had to take some pictures of them.
One of the big houses had a huge turtle wondering the property.
The BIG houses on the hill
Phoenix Temple. It wont be finished till next year. We can't wait to have it less then 10 minutes from our house.
We match!
We were going to go to the Zoo while Court was visiting, but the day that we planned to go it was pouring down rain. So we decided to just go to their Aquarium instead. Zack was able to go with us and we were super excited! I might have taken too many pictures there, but I am loving my camera.
The bird at the entrance. It was super loud and Tallin just kept staring at it!
Zack's fish face. hahaha
It was so cool we got to touch star fish.
This is a turtle. His nose is so cool!
Zack could stare at the fish all day. He has decided that he wants an aquarium in his office.
This is a discus fish. It was one of my favorites. It is so gorgeous.
There is a huge python (can you find it??) and then two parrots to the left.
The otters loved Tallin. They would go up to the glass and try to get him. Tallin loved it and did the same.
This is a Lionfish.
I can't remember the name of this fish, but this is a fish not a rock! Crazy looking.
There are penguins in the background.
These shrimp fish swim like they are facing down. Pretty cool!
Seahorse.
This is a green Monray eel. It was huge!! Tallin was trying to grab it haha.
These red bellied piranha look like they have sparkles all over their backs.
We got to touch sting rays!!
Balloon Fish
This is a rare alligator that looks like a statue.
Tallin was so cute and tried to grab this fish. He followed it all over the tank. It was so cute, I wish I had a video to show you!
Tallin did such a great job at the Aquarium. I was nervous because he did not get his last nap in, but he enjoyed looking and trying to grab all the creatures.
The day that Courtney was leaving we went and showed her Midwestern.
This is where Zack goes to get his test scores.
At the school gym.
Family picture time.
Goodbye hugs!
We had so much fun when Courtney visited.
Zack was watching boxing and I found him in the kitchen trying to box the air.
It was so funny, I had to hurry and grab my camera.
Our cutie all ready for bed.
Trying to get his teething gel.
Got it!
Timber!
Our cutie all ready for church.
If you haven't noticed I love taking pictures of Tallin before we head to church.
I love this picture.
BYU-Idaho baby
Tallin loves bath time unless he is tired.
He will chew on any and everything.
Last Sunday Zack came up to me after church and told me he signed us up to go camping with the elder's quorum.
I totally thought he was kidding... but he had to keep telling me he was serious.
It took a lot of convincing to finally say yes to the idea.
Tallin had been having a hard week and I was not too excited to go camping with him since he had been waking up like 4 times a night. Those teeth of his are killing me. ha ha
Overall the camping trip was really fun! It was our first camping trip as a couple and family. We are thankful that Zack's family was kind enough to give us a tent and sleeping bags, if we didn't have them we could not of gone on the trip. It was freezing cold though. At night we had Tallin on our air mattress on the side, but he woke up at 3 screaming he was so cold! He had five blankets on him and he was still cold. We ended up swaddling him even though he hates it, it was the only way to keep him warm. So we had to put him in the middle of us. I didn't sleep much the whole night. Maybe 3 hours at the end of the night. I was worried the whole time that I would roll over him. But when we woke up he was happy as can be! We left in the morning because Zack failed to mention to me that on Monday he would be taking one of his hardest tests of the quarter. So we decided to head back so he could start studying. Here are some pictures from the camp out.
The car is packed and we are ready to drive to the campground.
I have been trying to get a picture of Tallin's eyes because everyone always asks me what color they are and I can never actually tell them because I don't even know.
His first time playing with a stick.
He loves dirt!
Watching mom and dad put up the tent.
My cute clown that I adore.
Zack was playing football with all the kids and Tallin wanted to join.
Love!
Sitting all by himself.
He's growing up so fast!
The trees were so pretty out there.
Aren't they just adorable.
I'm not sure what he is doing with his hands.
If you look at his right eye you will see a red spot. A blood vessel broke in his eye.
We are not quite sure how it happened, all we know is that it is not painful and he could have gotten it from coughing or sneezing. Who knows!
He was so cold! His poor little nose and cheecks are so red.
Waiting in the car while mom and dad pack up the car.
While dad was taking down the tent, he got a visitor on his jacket.
In the morning before we left.
We do not look that great since we were sleep deprived, but it's our first family picture while camping. : )
We had so much fun this month and are so excited for next month. Zack's family will be visiting us and then my brother Brett returns from his mission in Japan. Stay tuned for next month's post. We will have lots to tell about. :)
