California Fun!

We brought Tallin to California for the first time.

We had so much fun exploring and showing him some cool things.

He was so good in the car for the ride there and only fussed a little towards the end. 

I think this was because one of the freeways we needed to take was closed, which made us have to go through LA traffic.

The way back I had to wake him up to feed after sleeping 4 1/2 hours.

We went to the Newport temple for my uncle's wedding. This is the only picture I got at the temple. This is my aunt Karen.  The next week, Karen babysat for us so we could go to the temple in San Diego! Tallin does so good with babysitters!

After the beach we headed to the Mormon Battalion located in San Diego!

I have been here a few times, but it was fun to take Tallin there.

After the Mormon Battalion we went to BJ's for dinner with grandma and Erik. I had Tallin try some whipped cream....he is not a big fan haha. He also got his first sunburn from the beach. We all spaced on putting sunscreen on, even though I had it with me the whole time!!

We got Sunburnt. Of course I didn't get as burnt as Zack. Got to love his white skin!

LA was an adventure and Zack and I decided that we never want to live there.

We went to the vistor's center and went around and watched some videos. We let Tallin stretch out on the floor while we watched them.

We were leaving and Zack said, "we forgot to get a picture of Tallin with the temple." So even though he was asleep we got a picture of the temple and Tallin.

We then went and walked Hollywood!

We bought a jumper at my parent's neighbor's garage sale! Tallin loves it so far. He was a little hesitant at first. But he loves just hanging out in it. I can't wait till he starts bouncing in it. 

Zack wanted to go to the beach one last time before we headed back to Arizona. So we did even though it was cold and windy. Tallin and I hung out under the umbrella and towels. The boys went in the water!

Another blowout on grandma!!

One of the reasons why we went to California was for a baby shower. My aunt had been dying to throw me one. I kept thinking I already have Tallin, so I didn't want one. Well after a lot of asking I decided to just give in. So my aunt Karen threw me a shower with the help of some relatives! Thank you to all that helped at the shower!! I just love this girl and can't believe how old she is getting. I remember when she was born. Crazy how time flies.

We had a lot of fun in California hanging out with family and friends. We now leave for Oregon after being home for only 1 day. We have a busy month. We are excited for all the fun we will have with Zack's family!
