We love the month of Easter

Since Easter was conference weekend this year we wore our Easter outfits the week before.
I was bummed my camera was acting up and made all of the pictures a weird blurry color.
But at least I have them as memories.

The boys got their Easter baskets early since we would be in Idaho when it was Easter.

We went with some friends to the Easter pageant in Mesa.

The Monday before Easter Sunday we learned about Easter and made homemade pizza for Family Home Evening. We had so much fun!! But we also learned that day that my Grandma B passed away. It was a busy night trying to figure out a plane flight for the boys and I go out to the funeral.

Tallin just wanted to eat all of the cheese.

Tallin loves his brother so much. He wanted to feed him one night, so I let him!

A couple of days after AJ turned five months I gave him baby food.
He loved it!! Well not peas though. haha

We have been potty training Tallin and the first day we got a little surprise on the patio.
He was so freaked out to go poop after that. He got it on his hands and face. It was pretty gross.
I was doing the naked potty training, that is how he got poop on the ground haha.
He has been doing really good until my grandma died and we had to do a lot of traveling for the funeral then he got sick. But he has done pretty well and will have a accident every once in a while. He still does not understand the concept to go poop in the potty yet though.

While I was packing for the funeral I went through a box of baby clothes and Tallin found this gem!
He loved it and didn't want to take it off.

On Thursday the boys and I flew out to Boise and my mother-in-law met me in there and drove me us to Rexburg.
She stayed with her daughter while I was there for the funeral.
My my with my brother's kid and Aj.

Ahh I love Rexburg for these two reasons. Oh and Cocoabean.

Trying on uncle Nama's shoes.

On Easter we celebrated Kari's birthday.
Her birthday dinner request was homemade Chinese food.
We invited Court, Nama and Karen over for Easter dinner.
The boys sure loved climbing all over Court.

Aunt Courtney made some popcorn for T and he was in heaven!

This is my cousins Grants kid. They are only a months apart.

Since the airport I was flying back to AZ was only 1 1/2 hours from in-laws house we decided to go visit them for a week. All of the cousins live 40 minutes away from each other.
Tallin had so much fun playing with all of his cousins.

Since we were in Rexburg for Easter, the Baxter clan had Easter the Friday after.
We decorated eggs. The kids had so much fun!

Aunt V helped Tallin color his egg.

Papa took the boys out for a ride in the front yard in Tanners car.

We tried putting the kids in the bath all together after they had a long day.
As you can tell Tallin was not going for it and cried the whole time.

The boys just hanging out.

While we were visiting, Karen took her activity days girls to her friends ranch.
We got to see a lot of animals.
It was freezing while we were there, but we all had fun!

Tallin would not let grandma put him down.
He made her hold him the whole time.
Poor grandma was feeling it the next day. Haha

Man I love Oregon's greenery.

Tallin hanging out with all of the girls.

Love my cute boys!

Tallin got to feed the horse a treat.

The kids got to go out on the truck that fed the cows.
They all had a great time.

After grandma and Papa B went to bed, the boys and I had some quality time.
It was so much fun to eat popcorn and watch a movie together.
Of course it had to be "Fire and Rescue". Ha Ha

The kids were ready to go find eggs.

Tallin is not very good at being patient.

Cute Tanner boy!

Finding Easter eggs.

He found his bag of candy!

We tried the bath again another night and we had happy smiles. Yeah!!
Traveling sure does a number on my little T.

We had so much fun in Baker with all of the kids and are so excited to head back in June.
Tallin loves playing with all of his cousins.

On the way to the airport there was a bad accident and I was so scared that we were not going to make our plane flight. Here is a picture of one of the trucks that crashed. But we made it in time!

The flight home went pretty good.
Our plane stopped in Denver and we had to stay on the plane for a hour and a half.
We ended up walking up and down the plane isles.
The only bad part about the flight was that Tallin started screaming the last 10 minutes.

Our thumb sucker.  Poor Aj was super sick in this picture.

AJ totally looks like Zack as a baby!

At one point on the plane flight, I had both boys a sleep.
It did not last long after they were woken up by the flight attendant.

Tallin loves airplanes.

Learning about airplane safety.

The day after we got home the boys and I got sick.
It lasted a whole week. Tallin woke up screaming most of those night and snuggling him did not help.
We ended up taking him to the Dr. and he had a sinus infection that went into his eyes and ears.
Poor kid, it was hard to see him in so much pain and such a high fever that we could not get to break.
We watched movies all week and just stayed inside.

Man these boys sure love each other!

Tallin has never been a snugly kid, but lately he has been coming up and snuggling with me.
 I love it!!

For playgroup we went to a splash pad and Tallin was not a big fan and was a stinker the whole time.
We ended up leaving early. He was still trying to get back in the hang of things after being sick, so I couldn't get mad at him for it.

Well it's official we have a big boy on our hands.
We got rid of the binkey and diapers. (He only wears them for naps and bedtime.)
It feels good to help him take the next big step to be a big boy!
He took his bag of binkies to the store and traded them with the cashier for a toy.
It was a airplane of course!
He wakes up once at night and we just have to go in his room and put his blanket on.
We are hoping that he wont keep this up though.

We have had such a fun month.
We are excited for June to come and to visit both of our families.
